Late last week I bought 25 tickets to Acquire the Fire so that we can take our youth on April 16th & 17th. Normally a ticket to ATF usually costs nearly $50, but for the Sacramento (and Baltimore) destination they had them at a discounted price of $34 a ticket.
God impressed upon my heart to ask our church family to help with this cost and thus to allow students to go to this amazing event for little to no cost, or absolutely free. I shared with Pastor Mike how I was feeling God was leading me this way, and without reservation he supported me and allowed me to stand before our church family this past weekend and ask for their financial help.
The total needed to pay for our 25 tickets was $850.
The total we’ve received is almost $300 above what I asked for…
God has put the miraculous within our reach. God wants our students at this event. Our church understands how important this opportunity is and the Lord is using them in a powerful way to make a great impact on their souls for eternity. Praise the Lord. Praise our heavenly Father. Praise our Savior and the Lover of our souls. Praise Jesus and Praise His Holy Name. Praise Him, praise Him, praise Him!!!
