I waited and waited for God. At last he looked; finally he listened. He lifted me out of the ditch, pulled me from deep mud. He stood me up on a solid rock to make sure I would not slip.” (Psalm 40:1-2, MSG)

Rescue me. I don’t want to feel this way. Please Lord, deliver me. Life me up out this darkness. I desire to walk in the freedom that can only be found in You. Show me how to conquer the war against my flesh and give me the stregnth to do this Lord.

Rescue me. I long to stand in Your presence, consumed by Your glory and passionate for the glory of Your name Lord. I don’t want to be luke-warm, consumed with self and thus trapped in deception. I long to be in Your presence, to fill the grace of your arms and love wrapping around me. May I listen to You – may I be obedient to You and may I see Your desire to free me.

Rescue me. You are fighting for me. You are victorious Lord and You do not desire me to feel this way. To be stuck in this darkness. You will never leave me. You will never waste the pain – their is hope in the power of Your name. You have rescued me Lord. You have restored my soul and blessed my life. I will worship You. I will live to bring You praise!

I owe You my life. I love Your Lord.
